Learning Resources Centre

Our library provides students access to high-quality facilities to develop their overall learning experience.

Bookshelves in library

We provide our students with access to high-quality facilities to ensure their overall learning experience at Middlesbrough College runs as smooth as possible.

Set over two floors, our main building Learning Resources Centre has over 23,000 books and bookable computers, with a team of qualified and experienced staff on hand to help.

The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) provides a creative, collaborative and community area and a review, reflect and revise area for you to study.  The creative, collaborative and community area has collaboration space and group study, a creative makerspace and our specialist community book areas. The review, reflect and revise area has our main book stock, quiet study and bring your own device areas. This area is for reviewing work and assignments, reflecting on learning and revising ready for examinations.

We have PCs, printers and enquiry points. We also provide electronic books and journals. The College’s Multi Faith Room is housed in the LRC.
