New Applicants
Enrolment will take place solely online. Applicants for first year of Higher Education courses will receive a letter and an email on Thursday 17th August inviting you to complete your enrolment online through our secure online enrolment facility, where you will also be asked to upload a photograph of yourself along with your qualifications.
Please have these documents on hand during your enrolment:
- National Insurance Number
- Examination result slips or certificates (for adults, it will be your highest-level qualification certificate)
- One form of identity - such as your passport or driving license
- Your enrolment letter
- Proof that you have applied for Student Finance and your CRM (Customer Reference Number)
When you have completed your online enrolment, you will be sent a copy of your timetable and a date to start your course. When you come onsite for your first class, you will be given your ID Badge and your laptop.
Returning Learners - Year 2/3 or Progressing to the Next Level Course
Year 2/3 students of a programme or who are moving to the next level course will receive a letter and/or an email with joining instructions towards the end of August and will be asked to come onsite to complete their enrolment at their first class.
Students progressing to Top-up (Level 6)
Students progressing to Year 3 or the top-up degree programme will be sent a link at the end of August to their online enrolment.
Clearing/Late Places
We still have places available on our Higher Education courses so why not have a look at our range of full and part time courses that can give you a university level qualification and kick start your career.
For full and part time courses, you can apply directly, no need to go through UCAS. Just complete the online application form on the Higher Education course that interests you. We will then be in touch and invite you in to enrol.

Please note: For Health & Care and Childcare Courses
Disclosure Barring Service Check
Once you have enrolled on your programme the admin staff in the Health & Care and Childcare departments will send you a link to apply for your Disclosure Barring Service Check. The team will also be able to support you with any queries over your application.
There is no cost for the DBS application, the Health & Social Care Department will organise to pay or your DBS application.
