Full Time Enrolment
(A Level/T Level/Vocational Courses)

 

New Applicants 

Applicants for full time courses at Middlesbrough College or TTE will receive a letter and an email inviting you to complete step 1 of your enrolment online through our secure online enrolment facility, where you will also be asked to upload a photograph of yourself along with your GCSE results. 

Also within the letter is a date and time to come into College to complete step 2 of your enrolment when you will meet your tutor, confirm your place on the course, and be able to collect your ID badge and laptop.  

Please bring the below to the onsite stage on your enrolment: 

  • Examination result slips or certificates
  • One form of identity - such as your passport, national insurance card, driving licence, etc.
  • Your enrolment letter
  • Any recent school reports

Returning Learners – Year 2 or Progressing to the Next Level Course 

Students who are returning in September for Year 2 or are moving onto the next level course at Middlesbrough College should have completed step 1 and have enrolled online already, but. You will receive a letter and an email to come into College to complete step 2 of your enrolment when you will meet your tutor, confirm your place on the courses, and be able to collect your ID badge and laptop. 

Not Yet Applied 

If you haven’t yet applied for a full-time course, don’t worry there is time and there will be a place on a course at college for you. Apply online and you will be sent enrolment instructions.

Completing Your Online Enrolment 

Enrolling online will take you approximately 20 minutes and you will need your NI Number and your contact details before you begin.  You must complete the enrolment in one go as there is no save facility. New applicants will also be asked to upload a photograph and your GCSE results. 

Please note: All sections must be completed, do not leave any section blank.

Please note: For Health & Care and Childcare Courses 

Disclosure Barring Service Check 

Once you have enrolled on your programme the admin staff in the Health & Care and Childcare departments will send you a link to apply for your Disclosure Barring Service Check. The team will also be able to support you with any queries over your application. 

There is no cost for the DBS application, the Health & Social Care Department will organise to pay or your DBS application.  

 
Frequently Asked Questions

Your ID card will be given to you when you come into College or TTE for step 2 of enrolment. You can use it to get free travel to and from college or TTE (please note there is a £5 termly admin fee for transport administration if you travel by bus).  More information about travel can be found here

If you are aged 16 – 18 with a household income of £25,000 or under you may be eligible for financial support.

You will receive invites to enrol on all of the programmes you have applied for.  You will need to choose which course if your preferred choice. We can help with careers advice if you need it. 
 
If you are still not sure we would encourage you to come into College on the appointment time on your letter and meet with your tutor for some further advice and guidance.   


If you have not received regular information from us, we may not have your most up to date contact details.  Please contact our admissions department 01642 333601 or email admissions@mbro.ac.uk as soon as possible and let us have your new details. 


If you have not achieved the grades you need for your chosen course, please call our enrolment team and a member of staff will arrange for you to speak to a specialist tutor. There will be a course for you, we might just have to adjust which level you start on.
