OVERVIEW

Are you committed, calm under pressure and hard-working? Do you have the desire to serve the general public? If so, a career in the Public Services could be for you.

Your course will be split into three key areas of study and include outdoor adventurous activities, classroom based units and sports and fitness. There is a strong emphasis on team work within this industry, and you’ll be expected to demonstrate high levels of discipline in terms of attendance, punctuality and behaviour on your programme.

  2. Many of our staff have years of service in the uniformed public services so you will benefit from their wealth of knowledge and experience
  3. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in outward bound activities and can even complete your Duke of Edinburgh Award whilst studying at College
  4. The College regularly invite uniformed services such as the British Army and Royal Navy to showcase the array of opportunities available to public services students
  5. Overseas trips are organised for final year students, and have included destinations such as Poland, Berlin and Cyprus
