Middlesbrough College is working with one of the UK’s leading security firms, Close Protection Security Ltd, to train and recruit for a number of exciting security vacancies. We are providing a FREE* training programme, developed in partnership with Close Protection Security, where you will learn essential skills for working in the Security industry.
On our 3-week course covers everything from legal aspects of working in security, to the latest physical intervention techniques, and you will gain an accredited SIA Licence (Level 2 Door Supervisor).
You’ll also achieve a Level 1 Occupational Studies and Level 1 Employment Training & Personal Development (including a unit on Drug Awareness).
On successful completion of training, we will fund your SIA badge. Plus, you'll receive full support to update your CV, and prepare for interview.
Eligibility and Funding for course:
This course is eligible for people aged 19+ (as of 31st August 2023) and have Entry Level 3 English, and Employed and earning less that £31,210 per annum. Learners must also complete an initial English and Maths assessment prior to enrolment.
