This course is designed to further develop the skills and knowledge to work at an advanced level in carpentry and joinery. You will learn and develop a range of advanced skills required for working in the carpentry industry and will complete a number of exciting projects.
On completion of this course, you will be offered the opportunity to achieve the IOSH Level 1 Cert Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Workers and CSCS card qualifications.
Construction students will have the opportunity to work in state of the art workshops, and have access to a real life outdoor construction site. This realistic work environment allows students to gain practical experience in constructing a single story dwelling which is built from foundations up to the roof.
