Preparing to Teach Skills Bootcamp – Level 3

Units include:

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationship in education and training
• Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
• Facilitate learning and development for individuals

1 evening per week within college between 5pm – 9pm, over 15 weeks.

Learners must hold English language and maths at grade 4 or above or equivalent. Delegates should be working in the education industry and hold a Level 2 Education qualification.

Learners will complete a portfolio of evidence using a range of assessments including assignments, group work, presentations and a micro teach.

Learners can progress on to Level 5 Certificate in Education.

Learners are advised they will require a laptop to enable them to access the teams site and compete research skills.

A small contribution is required from businesses:

10% of cost for businesses with under 250 employees = £89.80 per learner

30% of cost for businesses with over 250 employees = £269.40 per learner
