The qualifications will provide learners with an understanding of the principles of working within the aviation sector. On completion learners could progress into the industry or onto further study within the subject area. Learners will explore different aspects of the industry such as handling airport passengers, loading and unloading aircraft. Students will also develop key skills in customer service, communication and problem solving.
Travel, Tourism and Aviation students will have the opportunity to work in an on-site simulated aircraft cabin complete with seats, drinks, duty free trolleys and emergency life jackets. They will also benefit from our partnership with Swissport International, providing exclusive access to training at Teesside International Airport and other UK airports!
