Middlesbrough College Higher Education

Supporting You Back Into Education

If you haven’t studied in a while or you’re wondering how your degree will fit around your hectic lifestyle, you needn’t worry. We will support you in developing appropriate skills to balance the demands of study with everyday life and help you through any problems that should arise during your time here.

Unlike a traditional university, we offer an intimate and supportive College environment in which students spend more 1:1 time with tutors. Our dedicated higher education centre also means that students can work, study and relax in a quiet environment, whilst also benefitting from all the resources of our main college campus.

Flexible study options that fit around your lifestyle

Most of our university courses are delivered over 3 days, or on a part-time basis, meaning that study can fit around your work or family commitments. Upon enrolling on your course, you will have your own college network account which will enable you to access course information and announcements, course handbooks, week by week resources and assignment information. This can be accessed in College or at home. Students can also subscribe for free to Office 365 on their own device.

As a higher education student at Middlesbrough College you’ll be able to access high quality support from the College’s Student Services Team, including:
